WWF has two funds that support EE projects, the Organic Gardens in Schools Fund and the Environmental Education Action Fund. Year 10 Students from St. Peter's College in Gore researched the background to the movie "An Inconvenient Truth".  They interviewed relevant people including Jeanette Fitzsimons, the local Mayor and representatives from Environment Southland, EECA, DoC and the Catholic Church.  This is the newspaper they produced.

A group of senior students regularly monitor the Poorman Stream using a SHMAK kit to check the flow, clarity, pH, conductivity and bug life (invertebrates). This is powerpoint they created about their study.

These boys have loved working in the school garden at Nayland Primary and have written about their successes and failures so far.
